The wise woman of Banu Hashim
My heart trembles when I listen to the tragedy of Karbala,
But oh Lady Zainab you witnessed that with your own eyes yet you said, "I saw
nothing but beauty" , Ya Allah,
Alas! They killed the brave men of your family including the Prophet's innocent
grandson,
Hussain, Abbas, Ali Akbar, Qasim and your own sons,
Oh Lady Zainab you are a great example of strength,
Because of you Imam Zainul Abideen (as) was saved from the burning tents,
Nothing shattered your courage and patience,
You held the banner of Abbas and led the caravan with diligence,
Oh the knowledgeable lady without being taught; your sermons protected the
revolution of Imam Hussain forever,
Your voice recalled the era of Imam Ali (as) which was stellar,
The way you said Labaik and stood by the Imam of your time,
It is evident that your character is Islam's spine
The world is amazed at a woman who has been so powerful inside the veil,
Enemies of Allah tried to snatch this covering but they always failed,
You are a role model for all of us oh the mother of calamities,
You have taught us to never surrender infront of a tyrant and injustices,
May we all support Imam Al-Mahdi (AF) in his occultation and manifestation,
The way you carried the message of Karbala is a true inspiration.
