John Keats

English Romantic poet (1795–1821). His 1819 odes — "Ode on a Grecian Urn", "Ode to a Nightingale", "To Autumn", "Ode on Melancholy" — are among the most celebrated lyrics in English. Died at 25; his fame is wholly posthumous.
