Nights of Ramadan
In these nights of Ramadan,
when the beloved supplication,
taught by the beloved,
enlightens my humble abode
When I thank the lord
for his unlimited bounties
I thank Him for His successor
living amongst us but hidden
When I complain the lord
about His prophet’s absence
and the ghaybah of his Wali
I cry at my sins and deeds
which prolongs this separation
between my master and his servant
In hope, I yearn for the day
when this supplication
I’ll hear in my master’s voice
I eagerly await the Ramadan
without the craving
for his mighty reappearance
In those nights of Ramadan,
we will no longer have to worry
about the vicissitudes of time
against the Muslim nation
We’ll thrive in the name of Islam
Under the flag of Al Qaaim
